In a statement sent to VerAngola, TAAG informs that the Luanda-Brazaville connection will have two flights per week.
"TAAG Linhas Aéreas de Angola will resume flights to the city of Brazzaville from the 2nd of August, connecting Luanda to the capital of the Republic of Congo, with two weekly frequencies departing on Friday and Sunday", reads the communicated.
According to the company, this service will be "operated by a Dash-8 400 model aircraft", which is capable of transporting 74 passengers (10 in business class and the remaining 64 in economy class).
Regarding tickets, TAAG informs that they are now available at the usual points of sale, namely website, call center, store and travel agencies, "and customers can benefit from more advantageous rates by purchasing their ticket in advance" .
"Brazaville is the largest city in the Republic of Congo, with a strong concentration of economic, industrial and service activity, which makes the destination attractive for the corporate and private segment", says the statement, which adds that, within the scope of planning and management of the flag airline's network, the connection between Angola and the Republic of Congo, through Brazzaville, "will provide the company with greater connectivity and traffic with the Southern African region".
"TAAG thus reinforces its strategic positioning as a link between the nations and economies of the continent, reinforcing the dynamics of exchange and commercial exchange at an international level", the note reads.
