TAAG resumes flights to Bié with two weekly frequencies

TAAG will resume flights, suspended since March 2023, to Bié, reestablishing the connection to the city of Cuito. The airline announced that operations will resume on August 2nd, from which date it will offer two weekly flights.

:

"From August 2, 2024, TAAG will offer two weekly frequencies, on a triangular flight Luanda-Menongue-Cuito, with departures on Tuesday and Friday", informed TAAG, in a statement sent to VerAngola.

According to the airline, this service, which will be operated by a Dash-8 400 aircraft – capable of transporting 74 passengers, of which 64 in economy class and 10 in business class – will allow passengers to once again "count on the benefits of a fast, safe and comfortable air connection to the province of Bié".

TAAG adds that tickets are already available at the usual points of sale, namely website, call center and store, remembering that customers "can benefit from more advantageous rates by purchasing the ticket in advance".

Remember that, at the moment, the company has connections from Luanda to Cabinda, Catumbela, Dundo, Huambo, Lubango, Luena, Namibe, Ondjiva, Saurimo, Menongue, Soyo, to which Cuito will be joined from August onwards, via the triangular flight.

"In this way, TAAG signals its commitment to continue focusing on improving customer convenience service, aligning aircraft availability with demand rates and preferred destinations of its passengers", the note reads.

TAAG also says it will continue to "bring more and more connectivity to the Angolan market, promoting the inclusion and mobility of the population by strengthening domestic connections".
