The numbers, advanced by Aristóteles Gange, coordinator of Secil Marítima's operations in the region, were considered by him as "very satisfactory".

"So far, on the Soyo-Cabinda route, we've had passengers transported in a round of 3471 passengers. These are very satisfactory numbers for us, which shows that we're having good adherence," he said, quoted by Rádio Nacional de Angola (RNA).

The official added that the feedback has also been "very positive".

"We have received very positive feedback from users, we noticed that this has brought the two provinces closer together, in this case the province of Zaire, province of Cabinda and the other provinces. We have received people from different parts of the country who leave their provinces to go to Cabinda passing through the municipality of Soyo," he said, speaking to RNA.

With regard to cargo, he highlighted: "We have a ferry-type vessel and it has the capacity to carry nine containers (...) and more than six vehicles. We have had a very large adherence by the business class. We have already started transporting goods of the oil sector as well and we have been transporting various cargoes for this branch", said Aristóteles Gange, quoted by RNA.
