Maritime link between Soyo and Cabinda increases frequencies again

Since this Monday, Secil Marítima has once again increased the number of connections that sail weekly on the Soyo/Cabinda and Cabinda/Soyo routes. The demand for passengers and cargo has led the company to increasingly increase the number of transport frequencies.

:

In this way, another frequency was implemented on Wednesdays, so that there are now trips on this route on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Departure from Soyo is at 08:00 am, and arrival in Cabinda is scheduled for 10:00 am. In the opposite direction, departure from Cabinda will take place at 1:00 pm, so an arrival in Soyo is expected around 4:00 pm.

In a statement to which VerAngola had access, the company also refers that changes were also implemented in the frequencies on the Luanda/Cabinda route, which changes to Monday and Cabinda/Luanda, which takes place on Friday, departing at 08:00 am and arrival at 6 pm.

According to Secil Marítima, "this amendment aims to respond to the transport needs of the Angolan population, as well as small, medium and large companies that need to transport goods to these provinces, thus facilitating the movement of people and goods, boosting the Angolan economy".
