Played at Kilamba's Multiusos pavilion, in Luanda, the game went to half-time with the national team ahead on the scoreboard. Angola took a 19-point lead (40-21).
At the final whistle, the national team overcame Nigeria, winning with nine more points (57-48).
With this achievement, the country adds two victories in the group stage, giving it the leadership of Group B and, consequently, direct passage to the quarter-finals of the competition.
Remember that, on Saturday, Angola had already faced the selection of Mali, which it won by 72-55.
According to the match schedule, the national team will play again on Thursday.
Afrocan 2023 kicked off last Saturday, in Luanda, where it will run until the 16th of July.
