Luanda stage of Afrocan 2023

Luanda will host the African Basketball Championship (Afrocan) 2023. The competition starts this Saturday (July 8th) and will run until July 16th, at the Kilamba Multipurpose Pavilion.

In this, which is the second edition of the competition, a total of 12 selections will participate, divided into four groups of three elements.

In the group stage, to be played between the 8th and 10th of July, there will be four games a day, says a note available on the FIBA website, which VerAngola had access to.

With regard to qualifications, adds the note, the winner of each group will have direct passage to the quarter-finals, while the selections that are in second and third place in the group will dispute the passage to the next phase on the 12th of July.

It should be noted that Angola belongs to Group B, which is also made up of Nigeria and Mali.

The value of the tickets varies between 500 and 15,000 kwanzas.
