Speaking after being sworn into office by the Minister of State for Economic Coordination, Manuel Nunes Júnior, Neide dos Santos stated that she "intends to contribute to attracting more investments and registration of private investors, as well as to the permanence of foreigners acting in the national market."

"Another purpose of the administrator is to contribute to the increase of exports and diversification of national companies," can be read in a note posted on the government's Facebook page.

The new AIPEX administrator also took the opportunity to value the work done by AIPEX until then.

Manuel Nunes Júnior stated that "without investment there is no growth, which is why AIPEX's mission is to attract investment".

The minister admitted that this is not an "easy task" because "everyone struggles to attract investment to their country". However, he defended that the country must give its best.

Neide dos Santos was nominated as administrator of AIPEX by the President of the Republic on June 6th. She will replace Sandra Maria Pinto Dias Dos Santos who was exonerated at her own request.
