Franc Artiga arrives after the club terminated its contract with Portuguese coach Ricardo Chéu in early May. At the time, Flávio Amado was presented as Chéu's replacement. Although Petro has a new coach, Amado will remain on Petro's coaching staff. "Flávio Amado, the coach who was once a Petro player and who led the tricolor team to another Girabola title this year, will remain on the coaching staff", the note concludes.
