According to Jornal de Angola, the launch of the project – named 'Tata Uhayele' (take care of your health) and which concerns an initiative by the Ngana Zenza Foundation for Community Development – took place at the Lobito railway station ( Benguela).

According to a communiqué from the foundation, cited by Angop, the implementation of the initiative has the collaboration of the Ministry of Transport, through the Benguela Railway (CFB).

Thus, the project consists of clinical carriages that will bring health care to vulnerable communities along the Lobito Corridor. These clinical carriages, which will cover the provinces of Bié, Moxico, Huambo and Benguela, will provide dentistry and ophthalmology services to children and adolescents (from 0 to 17 years old).

Six trips are expected to be carried out in six months, writes Angop, who adds that, in terms of forecasts, it is estimated that close to 100,000 people will benefit in one year.

According to Angop, the partnership protocol for the operationalization of the referred project was signed this Friday between the foundation, the Ministry of Transport and the CFB, and the maiden voyage of the 'Tata Uhayele' will take place on Saturday towards Caimbambo, in the province of Benguela.
