According to the official, the 82 new positive cases, registered in the last 24 hours, were reported in the provinces of Luanda (49), Huíla (11), Cuando-Cubango (7), Huambo (4), Bié (3) and in the provinces from Zaire, Cabinda, Cuanza Norte and Malanje two cases each.
Sílvia Lutucuta, who was speaking at a press conference at the Aníbal de Melo Press Center, in Luanda, also regretted the record of three deaths in this period, totaling 800 deaths.
At least 449 people have recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours in Luanda, the minister said.
The laboratories processed a cumulative of 602,445 samples by RT-PCR and resulted in 35,854 positive cases.
The country, which this Monday extended for another thirty days the situation of public calamity, now has a cumulative total of 35,854 cases, with 29,329 recovered, 5725 active cases and 800 deaths.
