MPLA vice-president says municipalities will be held

Luísa Damião, vice-president of the MPLA, said this Sunday that the realization of municipalities in the country is a reality and regretted that covid-19 has come to delay the process.

She said the party is committed to holding the local elections scheduled for this year.

The vice-president of MPLA regretted the delays surrounding the start of the elections, saying that the emergence of the covid-19 forced the government to focus its forces on saving and preserving the lives of Angolans.
