"With the aim of adding more mobility options to its passengers and customers, and given the high seasonal demand registered on the Luanda-Porto-Luanda route during the festive season of Christmas and New Year, TAAG will provide 14 special services in the December and January 2024", announced the airline, in a statement sent to VerAngola.
According to TAAG, passengers "can purchase their ticket right now" at the usual points of sale, "benefiting from more advantageous rates through the advance purchase of the ticket".
With regard to flights, during the month of December – corresponding to the Christmas period – TAAG will provide a total of eight flights (four departing from Luanda and four from Porto).
"Departures from Luanda to Porto will be on a night flight and are scheduled for the 15th, 17th, 20th and 22nd of December 2023", while "departures from Porto to Luanda will be on a daytime flight and are scheduled for 16th, 18th, 21st and 23rd of December 2023", informs the company.
In turn, for January next year – the New Year period – TAAG will have three flights departing from Luanda and another three departing from Porto.
Thus, the flights leaving Luanda towards Porto will take place at night, scheduled for the 3rd, 5th and 7th of January 2024, while the flights leaving Porto towards Luanda will take place on a daytime basis and are scheduled for 4, 6 and 8 January 2024.
TAAG also informs that the route will be operated by a Boeing 777 aircraft with capacity for 293 passengers.
"TAAG thus accommodates the demand and interest of passengers, providing families and the corporate segment with a direct connection to the city of Porto, a preferred destination and high demand during the festive period", adds the note.
