These data, according to a government statement to which VerAngola had access, were released at a press conference held at the National School of Administration and Public Policies (ENAPP), in order to "disseminate the preliminary results of the new entry model in civil service, which began in May last year".
Thus, according to Nazaré de Almeida, coordinator of the ERU, the 2688 employees make up a universe of 324,906 selected citizens.
Since last year, ENAPP has carried out seven public tenders, "namely for admission to the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation with 30 vacancies; General Tax Administration with 360 vacancies, Ministry of Health with 1902 vacancies; Ministry of Economy and Planning, to fill 50 places; Ministry of Justice and Human Rights, to fill 106 places; Ministry of Energy and Water, with 35 places and the public tender for admission to the National Institute of Employment and Professional Training, with 205 vacancies," reads the statement.
Of the aforementioned public tenders, two have been completed and the remaining five are in the final stages, according to the ERU.
"The tenders are being opened in stages, for better transparency, and have bodies of judges made up of trade unionists, professors, university professors and deans", says the statement.
It should be noted that the ERU was born within the scope of the State reforms, with the purpose of "rescuing the principle of security and trust between citizens and the public administration".
