"We are talking about the regularization of a universe of approximately 7200 administrative agents", began by saying the Minister of Public Administration, Labor and Social Security, Teresa Dias.
"This has an impact on the general budget, a significant impact. We are talking about approximately 740 million kwanzas, but in fact it will not have a significant impact because these have already been burdening public finances and their public life as civil servants begin now," added the minister, quoted by Rádio Nacional de Angola (RNA).
Teresa Dias, quoted by RNA, also said that "this was a long-awaited measure in the regularization of the civil service, only exceptionally can it be done in this condition", recalling that "besides the rule principles, we are talking about the tickets, must always be through public tenders".
"This note is important to make known so that people can understand that this Basic Law of the Civil Service came, even in this aspect, to give some light and comfort to the budgetary units, insofar as this universe of agents will be regularized administrative processes that become employees", she added.
After the council session, the document will be published in Diário da República and then it will be up to the Ministry of Public Administration, Labor and Social Security and the Ministry of Finance "to work together so that the final orders of definitive appointment of these may come into effect in the coming days," added Teresa Dias, quoted by RNA.
