"Patients who needed hip and knee surgery have already benefited from this care at Hospital Américo Boavida and there was also a very significant improvement in the interventional assistance potential of the Instituto Oftalmológico de Angola", she said.

The official also highlighted that, between 2018 and 2019, the two largest public tenders in the history of the health sector in Angola were carried out, with the admission of 33,093 new professionals in the special career and in the general regime, as well as 100 percent of the framework. of doctors trained in the country and abroad.

"To guarantee the provision of services in these new units, the specialization of doctors began, having been defined an emergency training plan, medical internship, directing the direct entry to the internship for all doctors", she stressed.
