The execution of the works contract and inspection were awarded to the consortium of companies composed by Mota Engil Angola and Omatapalo.
João Lourenço, in presidential order no. 119/22 of 13 May, consulted by Lusa, states that the contract will be signed between the Ministry of Finance and Banco de Fomento Angola (BFA).
These lots comprise part of national road 230, namely the section of the Muassuda/Sapimbe road (lot 6), in Lunda Norte province, the section of the Sapimbe/Rio Tó road (lot 7), also in Lunda Norte.
The sections of the Rio Tó/Rio Peso road (lot 8), Rio Peso/Saurimo (lot 9) and the Saurimo road, all in the province of Lunda Sul also cover the contract.
These five lots, two in Lunda Norte province and three in Lunda Sul, total 327 kilometres.
In another order, João Lourenço also authorizes the signing of the contract for the opening of the credit line in the total amount of 7.8 billion kwanzas between the Ministry of Finance and BFA for the execution of the public works contract for the protection and stabilization of the slope of lot 4.
According to presidential order 188/22 of 13 May, already published in Diário da República, lot 4 comprises the Sonils/Via Expressa connection, located in the province of Luanda.
