"Within the scope of the Privatization Program (PROPRIV), the Instituto de Gestão de Activos e Participações do Estado (IGAPE), hereby announces that it has started the process of privatizing 20 percent of the share capital of Mota Engil Angola, S.A. (MEA), held indirectly by the State through Sonangol Holdings, Lda., pursuant to authorization granted by Presidential Order No. 32/22 of 11 February", the institute announced, in a statement made available on its website.
According to the note, the privatization will be carried out through a public tender, "in the form of the sale of shares representing the share capital, as established in the Order of the Minister of Finance, II series, no. 53 which also approves the Procedure Program and the Specifications".
IGAPE clarifies that the tender is open to national and foreign investors "duly qualified for the purpose".
Therefore, interested parties must submit their applications to IGAPE, from Monday to Friday between 8:00 am and 3:30 pm, until May 19th. Alternatively, the application can also be submitted via e-mail to motaengilangola.propriv@igape.co.ao.
