According to a press release from Odebrecht, a company operating in Angola for 40 years, the FNO, in partnership with Odebrecht Angola and the Agrarian Development Support Fund (FADA), visited 17 communities surrounding the new Cabinda International Airport, marking the internationalization of the Pdcis, "recognized internationally for its success in promoting sustainable rural development."

"The Pdcis' experience, with over two decades of success in Brazil, will now be the basis of the Produce to Transform Lives project, which aims to empower small Angolan farmers through technical training, productive inclusion, and agricultural innovation," the statement states.

The joint effort between the FNO, Odebrecht Angola, and FADA will create a replicable and sustainable agrarian development model to increase productivity and strengthen food security in Angola, it adds.

The joint initiative aims to adapt Pdcis' social technologies to the Angolan reality, with Cabinda's mission, through active listening and field assessments, identifying concrete challenges and opportunities "to transform the lives of local farming families."

"We are building a bridge between the accumulated knowledge of the Southern Bahia Lowlands and the untapped potential of Cabinda," said Jonas Nogueira, FNO's sustainability coordinator.

According to the official, this exchange represents more than a technical partnership, being "a gesture of historic reunion, of reciprocation, and of shared hope."

In turn, FADA advisor Deolinda Almeida considered this collaboration "the beginning of a new cycle of rural development based on integrated solutions aligned with local realities."
