According to the statement, the ministry learned of the act through anonymous complaints and owners of private clinics.
The document points out that individuals, at least six, have carried out "unseemly actions, which often end with scams of large sums of money".
"Thus, it is up to us to inform that the aforementioned gentlemen and the respective telephone contacts do not belong to Minsa [Ministry of Health], presuming to be malefactors and fraudsters who intend to tarnish the good name of this ministry", the statement said.
The ministry appeals to anyone who encounters telephone calls and the names identified or not identified in the document (Paulo José Januário, Gilberto Kanda, Paulo José Bernardo, Mr. Raúl, Mr. Mauro, Mr. Gilberto, using the telephone terminals 926098886, 923916994, 935078505 and 947057664), whose content of the conversation is limited to the payment or transfer of money, not to yield to any guidance or requirement.
The note advises to keep calm and to contact the defense and security bodies and the inspection bodies competent for the necessary treatment as soon as possible.
"Minsa expresses its solidarity with private health institutions, individual or corporate persons who have been victims of extortion and fraud by these individuals and repeatedly calls for the support of all, in order to take exemplary measures to discourage this type of practices ", emphasizes the communiqué.
