On the occasion, the official stressed that the work is being done and that, "in due time", the results will be available. However, he did not go into more detail, as the processes take place "in secrecy of justice".
"The processes are proceeding normally, the work is being done and, in due time, we will have the results. I cannot go into details, because they are processes that are secret from justice, but the work is being done", said the PGR, quoted by Angop.
Regarding the processes aimed at Isabel dos Santos and Manuel Vicente, former vice-president of the Republic, Pitta Grós said that the PGR also continues to work on them.
In addition, the PGR also defended a more intense fight against corruption. "We still have a lot to improve, we have to continue this fight in a very intense way, improve the working conditions and the training of magistrates", he stressed, quoted by Angop.
Hélder Pitta Grós also considered that the body should not "conform" with what it has, otherwise it will end up "stagnating"
"We should never settle for what we have, if we don't end up stagnating. As we don't want stagnation, we have to be ambitious and demand more and more", said the PGR, quoted by Angop.
In addition, he also made it known that the entity is committed to increasing human resources. In this sense, he added, this year the National Institute of Judicial Studies will launch more than 300 judges on the market, writes Angop.
"It is the year in which more magistrates were formed and we believe that, if we continue on this path, within five years we will be able to have a reasonable number of magistrates for our needs", he added.
He also took the opportunity to mention that the course that started this Tuesday will serve to promote sub-attorneys. "One of the promotion criteria will be the evaluation of this training", he added, adding that there are judges who have been in the same jurisdiction for over two decades, writes Angop.
Furthermore, according to Angop, the prosecutor also left the announcement about the inauguration of the new PGR building, to take place this month.
