João Lourenço says that “decision has been made” and announces new airport in Cabinda

The construction of a new, larger airport in Cabinda will move forward. The announcement was made this Friday by the President of the Republic, João Lourenço.

:

The head of state, who was speaking on the sidelines of the inauguration of the Cabinda Passenger Terminal, assured that "the decision has been made".

Cited by Angop, the PR also informed that the future airport will be built between Dinge and Malembo and will have an international character.

It is recalled that in February of this year the Government launched a public tender for the construction of the New International Airport of Cabinda, with a budget of 250 million dollars, under the argument that the current infrastructure is operating "at the limit of its capacity".

Taking stock of the visit, the head of state classified it as positive, writes Angop.
