Unitel launches this Tuesday the fourth edition of the scholarship program “Women for the Future”, referring to the academic year 2022/2023.

In this way, the telecommunications operator will provide 50 scholarships for women between the ages of 18 and 25, who intend to enroll or who are already attending higher education in the areas of engineering training.

The scholarships will be awarded for attendance at higher education institutions legally recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, and will annually cover enrollment, registration and tuition fees, also granting the scholarship holder an amount for general expenses (food, transport and books).

According to a statement sent by Unitel to VerAngola, the beneficiaries will also have the support of a mentor from the company during the duration of the scholarship, to guide their studies and careers.
After completing their studies, scholarship holders who achieve good results (final average of at least 16 points) will be eligible for the company's 'Top Students' program, which provides six months of paid internship.
