The visitors opened the scoring in the fifth minute through Lakay, after an excellent free-kick just outside the penalty area.

The Angolans launched the attack and, in the 16th minute, the Brazilian Tiago Zaulão re-established equality, with Yano sealing the turnaround even before the break, at 45+2.

Before the final whistle of the Zambian referee Janny Sikazwe, the Mamelodi Sundowns scored the second goal, which was disallowed by the video referee (VAR) after a foul in the move.

Alexandre Santos' men decide to pass to the semi-finals on April 23, in South African territory, in the second leg of the African Champions League short finals.
