According to a bank statement, your customers are receiving e-mails and fake messages reporting an account error. In this contact, customers are asked to indicate some personal details such as name, telephone number and the coordinates of BFA Net. However, the bank warns that this is a fraudulent scheme to obtain the personal and financial details of the customers.
BFA advises that if customers receive an e-mail or message "to request your pin or personal details relative to your bank accounts, delete them immediately and do not open any links or attachments".
"BFA never sends e-mails or SMS requesting personal information or updating data", it warns.
Without revealing how many customers have already been targeted by this scheme, BFA also leaves the appeal: "in case of doubt, do not provide any information and contact our services by email bfa@bfa.ao".
