In this sense, census agents, provincial, municipal and communal technical assistants will start receiving, from Thursday, their salaries, snacks and amounts for the extension of the data collection period, says the institute, in a statement quoted by Jornal de Angola.
Once this process is completed, the INE "will no longer have any liabilities with census agents and technical assistants within the scope of the 2024 census".
"Alongside the field census agents, the INE, as a contracting public entity, is paying due attention to the regularization of payments for services provided by various suppliers within the scope of this operation", reads the note, quoted by Jornal de Angola.
