The wish was expressed by Noorali Manji, president of the company, at the end of a visit to the ZEE, which aimed to verify the conditions in that area.

Cited by Jornal de Angola, the official informed that the new unit will be dedicated to the export of finished products, such as bars, angles, steel rods, among others.

"The group has great interest in investment intentions in Angola," said Noorali Manji, adding that that is why they have frequently visited its first factory, located in the Industrial Development Pole of Viana.

"I come to Angola every two years, taking into account our investment in the steel sector", he informed, also recognizing the advances that have been made in the business environment in Angola.

In turn, the chairman of the Board of Directors of the Socieda de Gestão da ZEE revealed that the visit followed a meeting held on Monday with the administration of the Private Investment and Export Promotion Agency (AIPEX).

Cited by Jornal de Angola, António Henriques da Silva made it known that the factory is not only focused on exporting raw materials but also on finished products and added that the construction of the new factory will generate new jobs.

He also said that it is necessary to continue carrying out various actions that attract the attention of investors, with a view to boosting local industries and losing dependence on oil: "We want there to be more jobs and industries with the capacity to absorb the power of essentially young work, and their arrival will eventually influence other investors to do".
