TAAG reschedules humanitarian flights to Lisbon and São Paulo for passengers with tickets

The national airline rescheduled humanitarian flights to Lisbon and São Paulo, Brazil, for passengers with purchased tickets but whose flights were suspended, and those who bought tickets "with the premature opening of the sales system".

In a statement released this Wednesday, TAAG states that "humanitarian flights to Lisbon and São Paulo have been rescheduled".

These flights "will serve to transport passengers with purchased tickets", but whose flights were eventually suspended because of the measures enacted to mitigate the spread of SARS-CoV-2, and for passengers who purchased tickets "recently with the premature opening of the sales system. "

TAAG adds that it will assume "the costs proven to be incurred with the mandatory test for the flight originally planned" for this Wednesday, "by presenting the respective proof upon arrival in Luanda".

The Luanda - Lisbon flights will take place on Sunday, February 28, and on March 7, leaving the capital at 1:30 pm and arriving in Lisbon at 8:00 pm.

The Lisbon - Luanda flights take place on the same days with departure from the Portuguese capital at 10 am and arriving in Luanda at 6:30 pm (next day).

The Luanda - São Paulo flights take place on Sunday, leaving Luanda at 10:30 am and arriving in Brazil at 3:05 pm. The São Paulo - Luanda flight, on the other hand, takes place on the same day, leaving São Paulo at 9:30 am and arriving at 10:50 pm (next day).

Angola canceled direct flights with Portugal, Brazil and South Africa last month because of the recently detected strains, two of the things in two of the countries whose flights have been suspended (Brazil and South Africa).

In the last week several tickets went on sale, however, there was no official government announcement about the resumption of flights.
