The information was provided by Ana Paula de Carvalho, on the sidelines of the 10th World Urban Forum, to be held in Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates.

According to the minister, the draw will be broadcast live, in order to privilege transparency in the housing allocation process. In this way, all 157,431 applications to 2390 houses will have access to information at the same time.

"The draw will work through a computer program, which is being developed", assured the official to Jornal de Angola, stating that seven draws will be carried out - at random - for an equal number of available housing types. All candidates for types A1 and B will be admitted to the same drawing.

"With this tool, the process will end up being very simple, with no reason for doubts on the part of competitors and society," said the minister.

It is also known that the equipment for conducting the draw is being developed by a national academic institution, with the support and verification of technicians from various ministries - Spatial Planning and Housing, Telecommunications and Information Technologies - and also from the Institute of Supervision of Games.

Imogestim, responsible for the application process, will not be part of the commission charged with preparing to carry out the draw, in order to avoid any type of interference. It will only make available the bar codes of the applications, and the computer device will be in charge of randomly assigning the rooms.

After the draw, the list of winners will be published on the Government portal, as well as on social networks. Only the names of the candidates concerned will be safeguarded, in order to avoid their public exposure.
