The governor met with the injured in the Middle Alda Lara Institute, where she regretted what happened, leaving the promise that a second date will be scheduled for the test.
"On behalf of the Ministry of Health, we came to find peaceful solutions, so that the exams run smoothly," began by saying the minister, quoted by Jornal de Angola. "The quantity of candidates is great, there was some disinformation and we admitted, but also many people never consulted the site to know where to do the exams", she completed.
"What happened yesterday [Thursday] is that some candidates (...) were wrongly informed that they should take the exam at the Insituto Alda Lara," she explained, adding that some candidates "arrive late, do not consult the websites and do not know at which school, room or time to take the exam," something that did not facilitate the problem.
Given the large number of injured candidates, the holder of the Health portfolio thought it better to reschedule a new date for the tests. The new date is scheduled to take place next Tuesday or Wednesday, but the minister left the alert that those concerned should, from this Saturday, consult the competition portal or the lists set at the Middle Institute of Health, between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., to make sure of the right places and times in which the exam will take place. The minister also asked that candidates arrive early, because if any problem appears it will be easier to solve it in a timely manner.
"Every effort has been made to ensure that the process runs smoothly," she added.
