Covid-19: country reports 331 new cases and three deaths in the last 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, the country reported 331 new cases, three deaths and 1298 recoveries, according to the epidemiological bulletin of the National Directorate of Public Health, released this Tuesday.

The highest number of cases was found in the province of Luanda (249), followed by Kwanza Norte (29), Kwanza Sul (22), Huíla (9), Huambo (6), Malanje (5), Benguela (4), Cuando Cubango (3), Cunene (2), Bié (1) and Moxico (1).

The new infections occurred in patients aged between two months and 102 years, 239 males and 92 females.

The bulletin also reports that, in the same period, three women died in the provinces of Malanje (2) and Benguela (1).

In the last 24 hours, 1298 recoveries were also reported, of which 531 in Luanda, 191 in Cuanza Sul, 156 in Cuanza Norte, 151 in Bengo, 105 in Moxico, 61 in Cunene, 27 in Benguela, 25 in Bié, 25 in Huambo , 15 in Huíla and 11 in Cuando Cubango.

The laboratories processed 3863 samples by RT-PCR with a daily positivity rate of 8.5 percent.

With the most recent data, the country has a total of 97,594 cases, of which 5547 are active, 1891 have died and 90,156 have recovered.
