With regard to new cases, the highest number was found in the province of Luanda (230), followed by Lunda Norte (96), Moxico (58), Namibe (30), Huambo (29), Huíla (12), Bié (10 ) and Lunda Sul (2).
The bulletin also reports that the new cases were registered in patients aged between six months and 81 years, 256 males and 211 females.
In the same period, seven deaths were also registered, of which six were men and one woman, in Moxico (2), Luanda (2), Bié (1), Namibe (1) and Huambo (1).
In the same period, 1492 recoveries were also reported, of which 1445 in Luanda, 21 in Huíla, 14 in Namibe, eight in Lunda Sul, three in Huambo and one in Moxico.
The laboratories processed 1636 samples by RT-PCR with a daily positivity rate of 28.5 percent.
With the most recent data, the country has a total of 89,718 cases, of which 11,083 are active, 1826 deaths and 76,809 recovered.
