According to a CFL press release, the circulation, which was resumed on Wednesday night, "will be done with a regulatory precaution" at the place where the derailment took place, until the complementary actions that are still taking place are concluded, but do not compromise the resumption.
The accident occurred last Friday, about ten kilometers after the town of Lucala, province of Kwanza Norte, when the fuel train, with 12 cisterns, carrying 480,000 liters of diesel, to the province of Malanje, derailed, toppling six cisterns.
During these days, the CFL advanced as an estimated weekly loss of 7.5 million kwanzas, following the paralysis of the railway service.
