In 12th place at Girabola, the result of three wins, four draws and five defeats, in 12 games, the Portuguese coach considered the decision fair, although he admitted that the team is not doing well.
“Even with five defeats in the championship, the club's management remained active with the coach. I didn't feel treated any differently. This serves as an example, because we, the coaches, are sometimes unfairly fired, we cannot always win. Thank you to the board and the sponsor, who were very correct. I recognize that not everything is fine. We have to improve on many things” he said.
The 52-year-old coach signed a two-year contract with the club in 2022, after a spell at Recreativo do Libolo.
