Angola loses to Norway in the handball world cup

Angola lost its first game of the handball world title stage. The senior women's national team took the field this Wednesday to face their counterpart from Norway, ending up losing by a difference of 18 points.


When the half-time whistle sounded, the scoreboard already indicated a considerable disadvantage: the Norwegian team had 20 points, while Angola had just nine, corresponding to a difference of 11 points.

Angola ended up being unable to turn the score around, with the match ending 19-37, in favor of Norway.

According to Angop, Norwegian Camila Harrem was chosen as the MVP (Most Valuable Player) of the game, as well as the top scorer, scoring seven goals.

Angola returns to the scene this Friday, where it will meet the Austrian team.

The world championship is taking place in three European countries, namely Norway, Sweden and Denmark.
