The strategies were reviewed by the economic commission during a meeting, which was guided by the President of the Republic, João Lourenço.

The National Tourism Promotion Plan aims to guarantee "direct investment on a large scale, facilitating access for tourists to Angola and their mobility internally", says a note from CIPRA, to which VerAngola had access.

Furthermore, the approved document also intends to "develop public service infrastructures, ensure the training and qualification of staff to provide services and improve the legal and regulatory framework for tourist activity".

The 2024-2026 Debt Strategy, also approved at this Wednesday's meeting, aims to "meet financing needs, maintaining a balance between reducing the cost of debt and maintaining risk at sustainable levels".

Thus, the note adds, the commission proceeded to assess the 2024 Annual Debt Plan, "a document that materializes the strategy", considering "internal and external sources of financing".
