The request presented during the plenary discussion and vote, in general, on the proposal for the General State Budget for 2024 (OGE), was approved unanimously, with 184 votes in favor of the parliamentary groups of the National Union for the Total Independence of Angola (UNITA), the Popular Movement for the Liberation of Angola (MPLA), the majority party, the Humanist Party of Angola (PHA) and the mixed group of the Social Renewal Party and the National Front for the Liberation of Angola (FNLA).

The president of parliament, Carolina Cerqueira, stressed that she will officially ask the executive to send the aforementioned document.

In the document, the UNITA parliamentary group states that the Government requested, in connection with the approval of the OGE for the 2024 financial year, a debt authorization, based on a Debt Plan for the next year, but which was not attached to the budget proposal.

In the document, the UNITA parliamentary group emphasizes that the plan "must necessarily include the parts described in accordance with article 3 of the Proposed Law that approves the budget".
