MPLA stands in solidarity with the Palestinian people and calls for dialogue in Guinea-Bissau

The MPLA Central Committee expressed solidarity with the Palestinian people, calling for the implementation of United Nations resolutions and expressed concern about the events in Guinea-Bissau, calling for dialogue between the parties.

The two points are contained in the final communiqué of the V ordinary session of the MPLA Central Committee (CC), which took place on Monday and Tuesday, at the Belas Conference Center, in Luanda.

In addition to these international events, the CC expressed solidarity with the populations affected by the rains and called on the competent bodies of the State and society in general to reinforce measures to protect families.

The party body also welcomed the intense diplomatic action of the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, to attract investments and in favor of maintaining peace and stability, on the African continent and in the world, urging activists to close ranks around the also President of the MPLA, who spoke at the opening session.

Regarding João Lourenço's messages, the CC claims to have adopted "Comrade President's speech as a guiding document and permanent consultation for MPLA activists and their social organizations".

The Central Committee recommended that the Executive continue to develop actions to define new financing modalities for building roads, training human capital, improving support policies for the private sector and prioritizing projects that directly impact the lives of populations.
