According to Angop, the (re)inauguration will take place this Saturday and will be the responsibility of the Minister of Health, Sílvia Lutucuta.
It is worth remembering that in November, the holder of the Health portfolio visited the aforementioned hospital unit, having announced at the time that it would start operating in December.
At the time, the minister highlighted that the aforementioned hospital would serve as "one of the reference units in the country for training doctors".
Among the facilities of the hospital, which was left in a state of destruction due to the rain in November 2020, there are obstetrics-gynecology services, ophthalmology, operating rooms, among many others.
In terms of beds, according to Angop, the capacity is 108, 42 of which are intended for adult hospitalization, 30 for pediatrics, 15 for maternity and 21 for the emergency bed. Also noteworthy is the fact that it has 13 incubators and cribs in neonatology.
