Sanlam Seguros supports charities in Luanda

As part of its social responsibility, Sanlam Angola Seguros visited three charities in Luanda. During the visits, non-perishable food, hygiene and clothing products were donated.

The three reception centers visited are Sanlam partners, and their mission and activity have also relied on the individual support of their employees. Cocks and balloons accompanied by a good mood to brighten the children's day were also distributed, says the insurer in a statement sent to VerAngola.

Lar Kuzola, a center for orphaned children located in the center of Luanda, was visited by Sanlam on December 14th. This center welcomes hundreds of children from newborns to 14 years old.

On December 15th, the insurance company visited Lar da Nazaré in Cacuaco, a center it has been working with for over five years, having helped build the school that is now responsible for educating more than 2000 students from 1st to 9th grade. th class. This center permanently houses 60 children and their needs range from food, health and hygiene items and clothing.

Finally, Dom Bosco, which has more than 1000 students, was visited by the Sanlam team on December 16th. The priests in charge of the school also help more than 2000 families in the community, keeping at least 3000 children between the ages of 4 and 16 away from crime and within the education system.

In 2018, Sanlam built the school library in one of its schools and plans to continue supporting the Don Bosco center by encouraging its students.

With a positive balance of activities, from the point of view of meeting objectives, Sanlam Angola Seguros plans to continue supporting children and institutions. According to Andrea Aragão "these actions are always aimed at the well-being of Angolan children and we will do everything in our power to support them".
