TAAG resumes flights to Luena next Saturday

After about nine months with the flights stopped, due to the preventive measures against covid-19, TAAG will resume flights to the city of Luena, in Moxico. The flights will resume next Saturday, December 19.

Genipro Narciso, TAAG's head of stopover in the province of Moxico, revealed that flights will resume next Saturday and that the company will initially fly once a week to Luena (in this case flights will be held on Saturday).

The responsible, cited by Angop, also made it known that the tickets were put on sale this Tuesday.

Regarding prices, Genipro Narciso indicated that for economy class tickets can cost 32,407 kwanzas, 70,216 kwanzas and 87,904 kwanzas. For business class tickets cost 176,890 kwanzas and 294,44 kwanzas.

In order to fly, passengers will have to present a test to covid-19 with a negative result, made 72 hours before boarding, indicated.

Before the pandemic the flights were carried out in Boing planes, however from now on TAAG will fly to Luena with small planes. In this case, the flag company will use aircraft of type DAES-400, capable of carrying 74 passengers.

In terms of schedule, TAAG will fly to Dangereux Airport (Luena) on Saturdays. On Wednesdays, the company will fly to the airport Deolinda Rodrigues (Saurimo) and on Mondays will fly to Camaquenzo in Dundo.
