In addition to Angola, in the list of banned countries, there are also Guinea, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Ghana and Cote D'Ivoire.
In a statement made available on its website, the company states that passengers from the aforementioned countries "will not be accepted for travel to or through Dubai".
In the note, Emirates says that the measure takes effect this Tuesday, December 28, and will remain in effect "until further notice".
However, the departure of passengers from Dubai to the aforementioned destinations will not be affected, the company said.
