The State Asset Management and Participation Institute (IGAPE), in a statement sent to Lusa, said that the transfer and exploitation process of the Infotur Benguela, Namibe and Huíla hotel network has already been completed.
According to IGAPE, after having completed all the phases provided for in the parts of the procedure, and based on the award criteria provided for therein, the Hotel Infotur Benguela was awarded to Grupo Omatapalo SA and the Infotur Huíla and Namibe hotels to Mr. José Jaime Agostinho Freitas .
The public tender for the concession of the right to operate and manage the aforementioned hotel units of the Infotur chain, with a purchase option, says IGAPE, "complied with all the necessary administrative procedures and in accordance with the program and the Basic Law of Privatizations ".
At least 11 competitors participated in this contest concluded on December 13, 2021.
This tender is part of the Government's Privatization Program (ProPriv), managed by IGAPE, which provides for the privatization of various State assets and/or companies in the banking, telecommunications, hotel, industry and agricultural, insurance and other sectors.
