During the same period, 448 projects entered the bank, 42 of which are under negotiation and the rest have already been approved.

The list of banks with the highest number of approved projects is led by the Angola Development Bank (BDA), which gave the 'green light' to 531 projects, followed by the Agricultural Development Support Fund with 142 projects and by the Angolan Investment Bank (BAI ) with 76 projects.

According to Jornal de Angola, in terms of sectors, agriculture stands out, with 557 projects approved, followed by Commerce and Distribution (195) and Manufacturing Industry (108).

Taking into account the results achieved, the minister of Economy and Planning admitted that economic diversification in the country is irreversible.

Cited by Angop, the official indicated that the oil sector represents 29 percent of GDP, while in 2011 it occupied a share of 40 percent. This reduction in oil dependence demonstrates the effectiveness of the economic diversification programs that the Government has been developing, he indicated.

He also mentioned that at the start of Prodesi, in 2019, 40 projects were validated, and currently the program has already approved 1020. Despite the growth, the minister said that they remain "very ambitious, thus overcoming all constraints, in the process to achieve achieve the goals set, to encourage exports through incentives to domestic production and reduce imports".
