In a statement to which VerAngola had access, the National Agency for Oil, Gas and Biofuels (ANPG) reported that the financing of the professional internship program, valued at more than 400 thousand dollars, has been renewed.

"The National Agency for Oil, Gas and Biofuels (ANPG), as concessionaire, Azule Energy and partners of Block 18 (SSI and Sonangol) announce the renewal of the financing of the professional internship program, budgeted at 450 thousand dollars, which is expected to benefit 150 university finalists in the provinces of Luanda, Zaire, Uíge, Benguela, Cuanza Norte and Huambo", the note reads.

The implementation of the project is the responsibility of the NGO Development Workshop Angola (DWA), which will open applications this Tuesday, with a deadline that runs until the 17th of this month.

According to ANPG, the 2024-2025 edition of this project aims to "promote training and strengthen entrepreneurship through the awarding of professional and community internships".

The project is aimed at more than 100 young university finalists in various areas: the program has "a target group of 150 young finalists in the areas of Health, Engineering (IT, Agricultural, Environmental), Economics, Architecture and Urban Planning, Business Management, Law, Sociology and Accounting".

Thus, those interested in participating must do so online, through the Mumala platform (you can access it here), which is managed by DWA, between 12 and 17 November, "attaching a copy of their ID and a declaration of school attendance".

"Young university finalists between 18 and 30 years of age and who do not have paid work experience are eligible for the professional and community internship program", ANPG also informs.

ANPG also takes stock of previous editions. According to the national concessionaire, in the last three editions, "more than 500 young university students have benefited from the professional and community internship programme".

This programme is part of the "strategy of ANPG and Azule Energy aimed at supporting the economic and social development of Angola, particularly in the training of human capital, as well as the promotion of local companies".
