TAAG reaches agreement with all unions

The national airline TAAG announced that it reached an agreement with all the unions associated with the company, with the remuneration components being applied from November.

:

According to a statement from the company, understandings were reached with the SINPROPNC (Provincial Union of Cabin Navigators) and with the SPLA (Union of Airline Pilots).

These join the agreement already signed in October with the Trade Union Bureau which represents, at national level, all classes of Non-Navigator Personnel, with agreements applicable to the entire workforce now being reached.

TAAG stresses that “the conditions contained in the agreements with the unions are already in the operationalization and implementation phase, with the remuneration components applicable from the current month of November”.

It adds that public transport is already in force "for employees assigned to the operational area, and from January 2023, for other functional groups".

The statement adds that the negotiations were characterized "by dialogue and consultation", with the parties assuming the commitment to hold regular meetings and participate in work teams "for long-term solutions, such as the reform process".

The airline, which is undergoing a restructuring process, has faced intense labor disputes in recent months, which has been reflected in strikes and flight cancellations.

TAAG currently offers 14 domestic destinations and 12 international destinations.
