"In addition to having all its pilots now available, the aircraft leased to meet the TAAG contingency plan will continue to operate in order to accommodate the passengers' travel plan and the rapid return to normal flight availability levels, mainly to serve the most congested routes", says the carrier in a press release.
TAAG services will contact passengers with guidance on their flight plans, and they are also encouraged to use the company's customer support services.
The pilots' strike began on Friday and would last for ten days, but was suspended this Tuesday, after a principle of understanding was reached between the union and the airline's management.
According to a union source, the pilots resume their activity at 2:00 pm, and the details of the agreement, which provides for an increase in the base salary of around 20 percent, are still being finalized.
TAAG currently serves 14 domestic destinations and 12 international destinations, including seven weekly connections to Lisbon.
