The statements were made as part of the hoisting ceremony of the Monument Flag, which took place at the Military History Museum, on the morning of Friday, November 11, the day that marks the 47th anniversary of National Independence.
"Today we have very big national challenges in the country, let's hope that the mandate that we are now following up here can be one that, with some visible difficulties, can see us improved in two essential aspects, effective democracy and non-partisanship of institutions", said the leader of the UNITA, in statements to Rádio Nacional de Angola (RNA).
Adalberto Costa Júnior also mentioned that his party is available to help Angola move in that direction.
"We would like to help the country to move towards the two enormous challenges and as a first element the effective commitment to the realization of local power", said the party leader to RNA.
