Mushingi was this Monday at the ministry's headquarters, for an audience granted by Diamantino Azevedo. At the end of the meeting, the diplomat stated that at the center of the conversation was the question of how the "involvement of companies from his country in the construction of the Soyo and Cabinda refineries could translate into gains for both countries".
The possibility of Angola exporting natural gas, taking into account the circumstances dictated by the Russian invasion of Ukraine and Europe's need for the product, also deserved the attention of the two officials.
"We are also dealing with the energy transition and the Angolan government's efforts to continue promoting environmental protection," said Tulinabo Mushingi, according to a statement released by VerAngola.
The US ambassador also reiterated that his country has great interest in the production of geological information that Angola has promoted to attract investment in the Mineral Resources sector.
