CAF inspectors inspect the stadiums of Angolan clubs

The Angolan Football Federation (FAF) confirmed that over the next few days, inspectors from the African Football Confederation (CAF) are visiting Angola to also inspect the Coqueiros and 22 de Junho stadiums, assigned to Interclube, in Luanda.

Speaking to Lusa, FAF vice president José Carlos Miguel also said that the Sagrada Esperança stadium, owned by the national champion team, in Luanda Norte province, will also be inspected.

The three stadiums will be inspected for being used by Sagrada Esperança, Petro de Luanda and Interclube, teams representing Angola in African competitions.

The official also denied that the Sagrada Esperança stadium has been disapproved by CAF, as the press reported this week.

José Carlos Miguel explained that the ratification of the result of the recent inspection carried out to the aforementioned sports infrastructure, by elements of CAF, is awaited.

Last week, the African Football Confederation rejected the 11 de Novembro stadiums, the largest sporting infrastructure in Angola, Ombaka, in Benguela province, and the Tundavala stadium, in Huila province, which are banned from hosting international matches. level of national teams and clubs, as long as they do not improve infrastructure.
