Covid-19: authorities announce 658 recovered and 14 new cases

Health authorities announced this Monday 14 new cases of covid-19 and 658 recoveries.

Of the new cases, there are nine males and five females, aged between 10 and 68 years. Seven were diagnosed in Luanda, two in Cabinda, two in Cuando Cubango, two in Huambo and one in Benguela.

Also according to data provided by the Ministry of Health (MINSA), among those recovered, 278 reside in Cabinda, 208 in Benguela, 157 in Zaire, nine in Huambo, two in Cuando Cubango, two in Cunene and two in Huila.

In the last 24 hours, 1310 samples were processed by RT-PCR, with a positivity rate of 1.1 percent.

Since the start of the pandemic, the country has confirmed a total of 64,927 cases, 855 of which are active. Of these, seven are in critical condition, four are severe, 13 are moderate, 20 are mild and 811 are asymptomatic. There are 1727 deaths to register and 62,345 recovered.
